Lala Meredith-Vulawas born in Sarajevo, 1966, to an Albanian father and British mother. She moved to Britain in the 1970s. She studied Fine Art at Goldsmiths’ College, London University (1985/88) and undertook her M.A. at Pristina University, Kosova (1988/90).

Lala's first show was in Damien Hirst’s landmark exhibition “Freeze”, London (1988) - famous for launching the Young British Artists (YBA). She represented Albania in the 48th Venice Biennale in 1999. She has exhibited nationally and internationally with many solo shows including at the Photographers’ Gallery, London, Germany throughout Italy and Albania. She has also exhibited in many group shows in the UK, USA, China, and Continental Europe. She took part in in Athens and Kassel 2017 with the Blood Memory and Haystacks series.

Lala is an artist and Reader in Art and Photography atDe Montfort University, lecturing in photography and video in the School of Arts.

Her recent solo show'wisdom today and forever',curated by Monika Szewczyk, was at the National Museum of Photography Marubi(October 2017 -January 2018).

Arnisa Zeqo
Arnisa Zeqo is anart historian based in Amsterdam and Athens.

In 2011 she co-founded , a space for art and theory in Amsterdam. Recently she was curator in residence at Center for Curatorial Studies at Bard College where she read the diaries of Franz Kafka and focused on works of art on the edge of the performative. There she wrote the conceptual essay 'Let's Spit on Szeemann'.

Zeqo waspart of the team of Documenta 14 in Athens as coordinator of education.
