Professor Vassilissa Carangio PhD
Adjunct Faculty.Ìý Dr. Vassilissa Carangio holds a Ph.D. in Business, within the discipline of Work and Organization, from the Swinburne University of Technology in Melbourne, Australia. She taught a broad range of business and liberal arts subjects at various institutions in Australia. She was a visiting research fellow at the University of Warwick in the UK and a Black Europe summer school (BESS) alumna at the International Institute for Research and Education in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. Her doctoral research on skilled immigration within the Australian job market was funded by the Swinburne Premier Research award (Chancellor's Research Scholarship CRS).ÌýDr. CarangioÌýalso holds an MA in Communications (combined BA/MA) from Sapienza University of Rome, Italy, where she completed a Master’s thesis in political economy. Besides academia, she has extensive experience in working in multicultural/multinational environments internationally. Her teaching philosophy is informed by a Gramscian perspective; a relationship between teacher and student of reciprocal acceptance and respect where a pedagogical bond between both can be consolidated, creating a humanized atmosphere for learning. Her research interests include skilled immigration, anti-colonial studies, and inequalities in organizational settings.ÌýÌýDr. Carangio teaches Management courses at AUR.
Professor Rosa Fusco MA
Rosa Fusco has been working in education for over 20 years. She graduated from the Open University and received a Master’s degree from the Institute of Education in the UK with a specialization in education and technology.
Rosa is currently Director of Computer Services at Â鶹¹ÙÍø University of Rome. Her office manages the IT infrastructure at AUR which includes administrative and academic technology for the institution. In addition to her many duties, Rosa works closely with faculty in supporting their use of technology in teaching and also in developing online content for AUR courses. She teaches module 2 of the co-taught courseÌýApplications for BusinessÌýin the Business Curriculum. Rosa’s research interests include exploring learning spaces and opportunities in online environments.

Professor Rya Kaufman MA
Adjunct Faculty. Rya Kaufman is a creative director specialized in web design and marketing. With over 20 years of experience, she works with international clients from a diverse range of industries including education, advocacy, technology and wellness. Rya teachesÌýtheÌýWeb Marketing moduleÌýinÌýtheÌýComputer Applications for Business course,Ìýin which students gain experience in building a promotional website as well as learn to utilize social media and email marketing applications to publicize a business
ProfessorÌýMarshall Langer, M.B.A.
Adjunct Professor. Marshall Langer has been an Adjunct Professor at AUR since 2004. He earned his Bachelor’s in Finance from Boston University and an MBA from The Wharton School in Marketing and Management, and has done graduate work in Counseling Psychology at New York University. Marshall entered academia after a 12-year career in finance in the U.S. and Europe, in investment banking and risk arbitrage with firms such as Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette Securities Corp and BNP Paribas. Marshall is also a Trained Group Counselor (which serves him well in the popular Business Psych course!).Ìý

Professor Theresa Lindo MBA
Adjunct Faculty.ÌýTheresa Lindo teaches in the AUR Business and English Writing programs, and tutors in the Writing Center. A former US diplomat and international trade officer, she spent 17+ years in government and the private sector in diplomacy, international trade, marketing communications, corporate expansion, and partnerships in the US, Italy, Mexico, Brazil, Spain, Ecuador, and China. She is Head of Marketing & Corporate Partnerships for the geopolitical think tank Eastwest European Institute. She earned a Bachelor's in Mass Communications from Boston University, an MBA in International Business, and an MA in International Affairs from The George Washington University.

Adjunct ±Ê°ù´Ç´Ú±ð²õ²õ´Ç°ù.ÌýDr. Josephine Luzon teaches Financial Accounting (ACC 201) and Managerial Accounting (ACC 202) at Â鶹¹ÙÍø University of Rome. She is theÌý Finance Manager of Bioversity International, an international agricultural research nonprofit organization (a member of theÌý CGIAR, which is part of the World Bank Group). AUR is fortunate that Josephine takes time out of her busy professional life to share with our students lessons and experience garnered in her impressive 27-year career spanning an array of leadership positions in finance and administration, budgeting, accounting, auditing, and management information and control systems.

Teaching at AUR for eight years, he comes from an international business background.ÌýA global sales executive with a manufacturing background, he developed distribution channels in China and India, including manufacturing operations in Tianjin, China and Bangalore, India, for mid-size computers and software.

Professor Nicolò Tartaglia MBA
Nicolò Tartaglia teaches InternationalÌý Business in the Business Administration Department. He joined AUR in 2020, and has decades of teaching experience in both the Italian system and in various U.S. Study Abroad programs. Global Business, Made in Italy, and International Management are his areas of specialization. Nicolò is founding partner of a business consulting firm based in Rome. He has consulted for several Italian SMEs in key sectors such as food, fashion, and mechanics. He has also participated in internationalization projects and lead business missions in South America, China, North Europe. Professor Tartaglia's priority in the classroom is to share his global business experience to help students become globally aware and develop their cultural intelligenceÌýin order to become successful future managers.

Professor Mary Ward MA
Mary Ward, has taught English and writing for over 25 years.ÌýAs Adjunct Professor of Food and Business Writing at AUR she brings to the AUR classroom an analytical and sociolinguistic approach to improving writing in various contexts.ÌýShe also teaches professional writing skills for the MBA program at the LUISS University in Rome.ÌýPreviously, she taught workshops on report writing to employees of FAO, WFP, and IFAD.ÌýProfessor Ward has published textbooks with Pearson and Oxford University Press.
